Visual Diary: Bologna in a Day
On my previous post, I talked about our spontaneous day trip to Bologna. It was indeed such a memorable day as any of my traveling days have been. It felt like I was finally - and gradually - putting a pin in my world map -- kind of like ticking off places in my bucket list. Except Bologna was never on my bucket list. I wasn't even so familiar with it before I went there. All I knew was that the oldest university in the world is located there.During our day there, however, Bologna seemed to prove itself to me. It was a small city, yes, but its beauty is so new to my eyes. We went there just a few weeks after I arrived in Italy so all the historical structures, intricate details, and captivating churches still have that wow effect on me. Every time I saw them, I gasped for breath. Even until now, the beauty of Italy as a country still amazes me, still makes my heart skip a beat. And I know, there's still so much more to see.In this post, I'm releasing the photos that my friends and I took during that day. Consider this as my journal. You are walking along the streets of Bologna, Italy through this post... with me. Did you have fun taking this journey with me, even just through these pictures? I really hope you did because one thing I want you guys to get from my blog is that feeling - that my-heart-skipped-a-beat-i-cant-wait-to-see-more-of-the-world feeling. Because that -- that is how you should live your life.[click_to_tweet tweet="To live would be an awfully big adventure. - Peter Pan (myrrakate.com)" quote="To live would be an awfully big adventure. - Peter Pan"]
